I've decided I'm crazy about socks so I must be just plain crazy. On Sunday Chris Hofmann taught a sock class and I helped her. We had a great time. Although someone suggested that we serve wine at the next class. It's not difficult but, 2 socks at once on a circular needle for the first time can be a little daunting to say the least. We'll be finishing up on April 26th. Does anyone have a prayer about knitting? A prayer would probably help or we could try the the wine or better yet the prayer and the wine.
Speaking of socks, we have some new sock yarn. Mountain Colors hand painted sock yarn called Bearfoot. It is a superwash blend of wool, mohair and nylon. Lots of wonderful colors. We also have great sock patterns from Mountain Colors. We received silk sock yarn from Jawoll. Lots of colors. From Tahki we have Maya (this is not sock yarn) in off white, sand and black along with a book with some nice patterns.
Just a reminder. When kniting the helmet liners for the troops remember to use 100% wool. Anything else would not be safe for them.
Don't forget to send the knitting prayers. TTFN

I just had to say that I saw the Mountain Colors and it is so gorgeous I feel the urge to knit a pair of socks. If you know me, you know I don't say that very often. :)
